The 90-day Metre Pull Public Service Announcement (PSA) was launched in May. It is the latest in a suite of commercials the company launched in November 2018. The PSA was a special request from Customer Service and the Credit Control section. It will educate customers about the company’s policy to pull meters from inactive accounts (any account disconnected for longer than 3 months) and on abandoned buildings.
The PSA features four members of staff; namely Sherry Etienne, Fervanus Williams, Othniel Dujon and Ronald Baptiste. It was shot at two locations – at an abandoned home in Bisee and at the Customer Service office in Sans Souci. The production came from the Independent Film Company.
The other commercials in the series speak to other company policies such as “How To Apply For a New Electricity Connection” or “How to Report a Fault”.
The PSA is currently being broadcast on HTS and DBS. It can also be seen on the company’s YouTube channel and social media pages on Facebook and Twitter.
