First Citizens Bank (FCB) appointed Mr. Jason Julien on December 27, 2023. He is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Business Generation at First Citizens Group. Mr. Julien is a highly experienced Chartered Financial Analyst with over 20 years in the financial services industry.
He holds a Bachelor of Science with honours in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School. Mr. Julien was awarded top honours in the 2018 Professional Certificate for Financial Advisors Programme.
Mr Julien has held numerous leadership positions, including Past President of the CFA Society of Trinidad and Tobago.
He has served on the boards of several organizations, such as the Mutual Fund Association of Trinidad and Tobago and the Securities Dealers Association of Trinidad and Tobago. Mr Julien is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Term Finance Holdings Limited and is also a Director on the boards of several subsidiaries within the First Citizens Group.
Mr. Jason Julien replaces Dr. Sterling Frost, who retired from FCB on December 26, 2023, and, by extension, the LUCELEC Board.
