The LUCELEC Club is presently seeking a new Meteorologist. We did not enjoy the clear skies weather which was promised last evening and two games were washed out.
Game 1: System Control Crushers vs TnD Shockers
Welcome to the first game in this year’s Inter Department Court Cricket. The banter between the two teams began when the tournament was first announced and we believe it was fitting to allow the Crushers and Shockers to settle their differences on the court.
TnD Shockers won the toss and decided to bowl first. The third ball of the game saw the captain of System Control sacrificing his team mate’s wicket in what appeared to be a comical run out (poor jab Harvey). Some powerful ball striking by Landy Wallace and Andrew Cherubin coupled with 13 wides gave System Control a competitive score of 100 runs in their allotted ten overs.
At their time at the crease, The Shockers were gifted with 15 wides in less than five overs, many thanks to debutant Jayarr Johny who caught the wide syndrome from ball 1. A watchful partnership between Sherick Anthony and Nerie Joseph gave TnD Shockers the edge in a rain affected match. In 4.5 overs, TnD Shockers were 59 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.
TnD Shockers won via Duckworth Lewis method (DLS).
Man of the Match: Sherick Anthony (16 runs with the bat and one wicket with the ball).

Game 2: Inventory Stingers VS Customer Service Kool & The Gang
The Game was washed out due to rain, each team received one point.
The LUCELEC Club would like to commend Customer Service for being present an hour before their schedule game time (other teams please take note). Unfortunately, the rain had the last laugh and we look forward to hosting this amazing team next week.
Game 3: TnD Lightning Strikers vs Generation Power House
This game was also washed out due to rain, each team received one point.
